Canadians for Climate Leadership has launched a Canada wide campaign, PowerUp Canada, which invites Canadians to join together and demand tougher laws in the fight against global warming.
Canadians for Climate Leadership turned to FD Element to create the PowerUp Canada name, brand, core messaging, communications frameworks and an interactive website, which calls for Canadian action and highlights PowerUp Canada’s mandate. The state-of-the-art site is an action hub offering its supporters educational material, and up-to-date news on climate change and international government action.
The PowerUp Campaign has attracted support from organizations such as Canada’s Association for the 45+ (CARP), and the United Steelworkers, and Canadian celebrities such as, Rachel McAdams, Margaret Atwood, Moses Znaimer, Prof. Thomas Homer Dixon, Stephen Bronfman and Kiefer Sutherland.
